One generation means scanning one repository and producing all applicable compliance documents. Each generation typically produces 138+ documents tailored to your codebase.
What output formats are included?
The free CLI generates Markdown and JSON locally — unlimited, no account needed. HTML, DOCX, and PDF are available through the paid cloud service, which also adds company name and email injection, per-document format folders, and priority support.
What does "codepliant diff" do?
The diff command compares your current scan against a previous snapshot and shows what changed — new services detected, removed services, and which compliance documents need updating. It is essential for CI/CD workflows and audit trails.
